Overview
The Gas Marketing department purchases, sells, and schedules natural gas and condensate on all MarkWest Energy Partners systems. In addition to executing marketing transactions, Gas Marketing also locks in gas plant frac spread, executes financial derivatives and provides price and market solutions to third-party customers. Currently Gas Marketing manages about 775,000 MMBtu a day across thirteen gathering and distribution systems.

We are currently operating in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kentucky, West Virginia and Michigan.

We operate on ten interstate pipelines:

- Centerpoint Energy Gas Transmission

- Michigan Consolidated Gas Pipeline
- Natural Gas Pipeline
- Northern Natural
- Panhandle Eastern Pipeline
- Tennessee Pipeline
- Texas Eastern Transmission
- Transwestern Pipeline
And two intrastate pipelines:
- ATMOS Pipeline
- Enterprise Pipeline
